You might know that Apple was behind the recent update to their operating system, the iOS 9, which brought with it a new requirement for developers to register their devices using an iPhone's fingerprint sensor. But now, those with jailbroken iOS devices can avoid such hassles by installing a simple utility called x100c. With software like this installed on your device, you'll be able to easily and quickly register fingerprints with Apple without any fuss. This is perfect if you're an iPhone developer and want easy access to your device's fingerprint sensor — or if you just want full control over your iOS device. Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows users alike can all gain quick access to their device's fingerprint sensor by using x100c. To get started, you'll need to jailbreak your device. Once that is complete (and assuming that you're an iPhone developer), open Cydia and search for x100c. Launching the tweak will then allow you to easily configure your existing fingerprint sensor on the device. To get started, simply tap enable on the main configuration screen after it launches. The tweak's preferences will then launch in the Settings app so that you can customize exactly how you want your iPhone or iPad to register fingerprints after booting up or waking up from sleep mode. For developers, in particular, the ability to register a fingerprint is a tremendous time saver when it comes to working on a new app in development. With x100c installed on your iPhone, you'll be able to register your device's fingerprint sensor before you start working.
